A father blogs about what he saw in the Landmark Forum:
I participated in the Landmark Forum recently. What an experience! Human Beings are so powerful and yet so stuck in the past. Amazing the things that can stop us, keep us hidden from who we truly are, start feuds that last from decades to millennia, even start wars. I confess to playing a small game. To thinking my everyday problems were of grand importance in the world. I have been stuck in my past, held back by things people said, by mean things young kids did when I was young, and one terrible thing that I had even forgotten about. Just amazing what is so THERE when it is not really there at all in the here and now, only how we reacted to it and what we made it mean. I am present to the selfishness on my part for not playing a bigger game and creating a wondrous world for myself and others. I am present to others suffering when they may not be had I played large and been out to have problem worthy of a great Human Being. I got for myself being real and causing life. I am free from the roller coaster where I wait for the ride to let me off. I am taking the controls and taking off.
